Clean double spaces and unnecessary whitespace without retyping your text.
Paste your content and press “Clean Spaces”. This is useful for text copied from PDFs, email or documents with inconsistent spacing.
Only if you turn off the preserve line breaks option.
Paste text to remove excess whitespace. Choose whether to preserve paragraph and line boundaries or collapse whitespace into a continuous passage.
Example: clean a copied table description that contains repeated spaces and tabs before pasting it into a product listing.
If line breaks carry meaning, keep the preserve-lines option on. Whitespace cleanup will not correct spelling, misplaced punctuation or formatting in complex documents; inspect the result before replacing your source.
